Academic success is a difficult and complex task. It depends on college strategies, determination, and some secrets. The term "academic secrets" usually refers to the secrets of learning, teaching, college, notes, exams, time management, meditation, and more. The MigBook will focus on all aspects of college success.

Take your entire time exactly, at the test

You have probably observed this phenomenon: after the first person turns in a test, other students rush up to the instructor’s desk. If you have ever been only partway through a test when this occurred, you may have felt inadequate or stressed.

A few of the students who turn in tests early are so strong that it is unrealistic for others to expect to race through the test so quickly. And some students who hand in tests early left many blanks or made hasty guesses, so they are likely to do poorly. As you can see, both are extremes. Don’t let these “early departures” distract you or make you feel inadequate.

Never hesitate to use the entire time, and do not feel uncomfortable because you’ve made an instructor wait while you finish the test. Remember that your tuition pays that instructor’s salary. And some instructors even enjoy being in a quiet test room, away from telephone calls and other interruptions.
