The bulletin board of the university is constantly filled with advertising leaflets. No matter how important things are, many students reluctantly read or endure it. If you ignoring these, you not only ignore important announcements but also skip due date. Also, you will lose important participation opportunities such as concerts, films, guest lectures or other extracurricular activities which may relevant to your study life. Remember some opportunities come for an only one time in the whole life.
Create a habit that reads a little bit near boards. Read the publishers brochures in the college. The applications for scholarships have appeared only on the notice board of the building which closed to the financial affair office. However, since this is not a frequently traveled corridor, many students may be unaware of these scholarships.
Unlike in schools, there is no public address system for students of higher education institutions. If someone produces a leaflet, advertisement or brochure, it is for you.
